My copywriter and I made this campaign in a creative portfolio class. We wanted to express a truth about the product, but avoid taking the obvious route. We latched on to the realization that Cheetos are like snowflakes; no two are exactly the same. So we made a series of print ads that portrayed them as a snack that was as unique and individual as the people who eat them. To make it fun and personal, we gave each Cheeto a quirky personality and added a line of copy that was a nod to each one.
