Since 2020, hunger has surged globally. Enter WhyHunger, who seeks to fund and support community solutions to protect the human right to food, spearheaded by its annual Hungerthon campaign. As the event planned to celebrate its 40th anniversary, the organization was looking to engage a younger, more diverse audience that would help widen the donor base and increase the number of small-dollar donations.
Through the Young Lions Competition, our team created a digital campaign designed to break through the clutter of the fall fundraising season and engage these new audiences.
Among hundreds of entires nationwide, we were selected among the Top 5 finalists in the digital category, granting us the opportunity to present the idea among a panel of jurors in New York City. Upon doing so, our work placed in third.
